The EAFF Futsal Championship is the main national futsal competition of the East Asian Football Federation nations. It was first held in 2009 and is the East Asian qualifying tournament for the AFC Futsal Championship.

The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) founded in 2001, is a regional sub-confederation of football, governed under the Asian Football Confederation, for nations in West Asia. The WAFF consists of 12 member associations.
EAFF E-1 Football Championship, known as the East Asian Football Championship from 2003 to 2010, and the EAFF East Asian Cup for the 2013 and 2015 editions, is a men's international football competition in East Asia for member nations of the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF). Before the EAFF was founded in 2002, the Dynasty Cup was held between the East Asian top four teams, and was regarded as the East Asian Championship. On 17 June 2007, Lo made his debut for Chinese Taipei in the game against Guam of East Asian Cup 2008 preliminary competition, in which he scored 4 goals to help Chinese Taipei's 10-0 victory. His twin brother, Lo Chih-an, is also a footballer. Both of them currently study in National Pingtung University of Education.
