Sean Malone was an American musician who played primarily fretless bass guitar and Chapman Stick. Atsena Otie Key is a barrier island and ghost town one-half mile offshore of Cedar Key, Florida. Atsena Otie was the original site of the town of Cedar Key, and in the present day includes a walking trail, swimming area, and ruins of the Eberhard Faber mill. The property is part of the Cedar Key National Wildlife Refuge and is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The Blackwing 602 is a pencil that is noted for its soft, dark graphite, unique flat square ferrule and replaceable eraser. It was manufactured by the Eberhard Faber Pencil Company from 1934 to 1988, then by the Faber-Castell pencil company from 1988 to 1994 and by Sanford from 1994 to 1998. The pencil initially sold for 50 cents each. After it was discontinued single original pencils were found on eBay for over $40, with some older ones being sold for over $100. Originals are becoming increasingly rare. As of 2012 a different pencil using the same name is being manufactured by Palomino.

Von Faber also played an important role in the introduction of trademark protection in Germany; his 1874 petition to the German Reichstag for such legislation contributed to the Act on Trade Mark Protection, passed the following year.
58 Kent Street is a three-story, open plan building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, in New York City. It is part of the Eberhard Faber Pencil Factory historic district, a complex that operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The crowdfunding platform Kickstarter purchased the building in 2011 and completed an extensive renovation. Kickstarter staff worked there from 2014 through the COVID-19 pandemic, during which the company transitioned to a fully remote workforce and the building was listed for sale.
Gulf Hammock is a wetlands area in the southern end of Levy County, Florida. It extends along the Gulf of Mexico coast from Cedar Key to the Withlacoochee River, and reaches several miles inland. Gulf Hammock includes the largest expanse of hydric hammock in Florida. The area is mostly uninhabited, with the area closest to the Gulf coast in a state park, and the inland areas primarily used for logging and hunting.

A.W. Faber, the original name of the company, is the oldest company brand in the USA.
