The Embassy of Mexico in France, based out of Paris, is the primary diplomatic mission from the United Mexican States to France. It also represents Mexico to the Principality of Monaco, as well as to the Council of Europe. [1]
The chancery for the Embassy is located at 9, rue de Longchamp in Paris. Additionally, the Consular Section is located at 4, rue Nôtre Dame des Victoires. Finally, Mexico also maintains a Cultural Institute at 119, rue Vieille du Temple. [2]
The Ambassador of Mexico to the France is the highest ranking diplomatic representative of the United Mexican States to the French Republic and subsequently holds the rank of "ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary." The Embassy of Mexico in Washington, D.C. houses the diplomatic mission from Mexico to the United States.

The Embassy of Mexico in Spain, based out of Madrid, is the primary diplomatic mission from the United Mexican States to the Kingdom of Spain. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1836, 15 years after the Mexican War of Independence, but were severed in 1940 due to Mexico's support for the Second Spanish Republic in the Spanish Civil War. Relations were re-established in 1977 when Spain returned to a democracy following the death of Francisco Franco.
The Embassy of Mexico in Austria, based out of Vienna, is the primary diplomatic mission from the United Mexican States to the Republic of Austria. It is also accredited to the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Slovenia and the United Nations Office at Vienna.
