The Escondido Formation is a geologic formation in Texas and Coahuila, Mexico. It preserves fossils dating back to the Late Cretaceous period. [2] [3] [4] These fossils include ammonites, [5] dyrosaurs like Sabinosuchus , [6] [7] crustaceans and corals. [8]
