Eskandarabad (Persian : اسكندراباد‎, also Romanized as Eskandarābād)^[1] is a village in Beradust Rural District, Sumay-ye Beradust District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 119, in 26 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Beradust Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sumay-ye Beradust District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 13,766, in 2,378 families. The rural district has 49 villages.

The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Beradust Rural District, Sumay-ye Jonubi Rural District, and Sumay-ye Shomali Rural District.
