Safarqoli Khan Kandi (Persian : صفرقلی‌خان‌کندی‎, also Romanized as Şafarqolī Khān Kandī; also known as Şafar ‘Alīkhān Kandī and Şafarqolī Kandī)^[1] is a village in Bash Qaleh Rural District, in the Central District of Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 119, in 36 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran.
