Owkhchilar (Persian : اوخچيلار‎, also Romanized as Owkhchīlār; also known as Ūkhchelar)^[1] is a village in Nazlu-e Shomali Rural District, Nazlu District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 23, in 6 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Nazlu-e Shomali Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Nazlu District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,373, in 4,288 families. The rural district has 46 villages.

Nazlu District is a district (bakhsh) in Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 36,732, in 8,943 families. The District has one city: Nushin. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Nazlu-e Shomali Rural District and Tala Tappeh Rural District.
