The governor of Hebei, officially the Governor of the Hebei Provincial People's Government, is the head of the Hebei Provincial People's Government. The governor generally serves as the deputy secretary of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, and is the second-highest ranking official in the province after the secretary of the CCP Hebei Committee.

Yang Chongyong is a former Chinese politician who spent his career in Yunnan and Hebei. He most recently held the post of the Vice-Chairman of the Hebei People's Congress. Previously, he held the post of the Vice Governor of Hebei and Communist Party Secretary of Kunming. He was investigated by the Chinese Communist Party's anti-graft agency in April 2017. He was accused of taking 206 million RMB bribery according to The Second People's Court of Tianjin, 2018.

Li Ganjie is a Chinese politician serving as the head of the Organization Department of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He is a member of the 20th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party and a secretary of the 20th Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party. Mao Weiming is a Chinese politician, serving since November 2020 as governor of Hunan.

Gan Rongkun is a former Chinese politician. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in June 2021. He entered the workforce in July 1983, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in April 1996. Previously he was secretary of the Henan Provincial Politics and Law Commission and a member of the Standing Committee of the CCP Henan Provincial Committee.

Wang Zhengpu is a Chinese politician who is the current governor of Hebei, in office since 21 October 2021. Previously he served as director of the National Administration for Rural Revitalization.

The 20th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party , officially the Central Committee of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, comprises 205 members and 171 alternates. It was elected at the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s 20th National Congress on 22 October 2022, and its term lasts until the election of the 21st Central Committee at the 21st National Congress, which is planned for 2027. The Central Committee is the party's highest decision-making body in a given period, is not a permanent body, and convenes for an unspecified number of times.

Ge Haijiao is a Chinese politician and banker, currently serving as party secretary of the Bank of China, in office since 31 March 2023.

The 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) was elected at the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party on 22 October 2022. At its 1st Plenary Session, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection nominated its candidates for secretary, deputy secretaries, secretary-general and other members of the 20th CCDI Standing Committee. These were later approved by the 20th Central Committee at its 1st Plenary Session on 23 October 2022.
