Alexandre Barros is a former Brazilian motorcycle road racer. After a long career in MotoGP, for 2006 he moved to the Superbike World Championship. He returned to MotoGP for 2007, but retired by the end of the season.
Alfonso Pons Ezquerra, better known as Sito Pons, is a Spanish former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He won the 250cc World Championship with Honda in 1988 and 1989.

Dieter Braun is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from Germany. He won the 1970 FIM 125cc World Championship for Suzuki. In 1973, he rode a Yamaha TZ250 to the 250cc FIM world championship.
Andrea Dovizioso is a professional motorcycle racer who competes in the MotoGP world championship for the factory Ducati Corse team. He won the 125cc World Championship in 2004. He also finished third in the MotoGP class in 2011 and has been a race winner on 9 occasions, the first two coming seven years apart and the next six coming within the space of less than five months during 2017, as he mounted his first premier-class title challenge during his career. He once again finished second behind Márquez in the 2018 championship, winning four races.
Cal Crutchlow is a British professional motorcycle road racer, who currently competes in the MotoGP World Championship for CWM LCR Honda. In early 2017, the RAC awarded Crutchlow the Torrens Trophy, an accolade made in recognition of "outstanding contribution to motorcycling in the United Kingdom". When making the award, the RAC spokesperson cited "the first Brit to win a premier class race since Barry Sheene in 1981".

Dirk Raudies is a German former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, specialising in 125cc. Born in Biberach an der Riß, Germany, his greatest success on the racetrack came in 1993 when he won the 125cc Grand Prix world championship on a Honda RS125R.
Manfred Herweh is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from Germany. He had his best year in 1984 when he won four races riding a Rotax-powered Real 250cc motorcycle. Herweh ended the season in second place behind Christian Sarron. He retired after the 1989 season.
Loris Reggiani is an Italian former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer who competed for the Aprilia factory racing team. His best years were in 1981, when he won two races in the 125 class, finishing the season in second place behind Angel Nieto, and in 1992 in the 250 class, when he again won two races and finishing in second place again, this time to Luca Cadalora. Reggiani was the first rider to win a Grand Prix for the Aprilia factory when he won the 1987 San Marino Grand Prix. In 1994, Reggiani moved up to the 500cc class aboard a new bike from Aprilia with a V-twin, 250cc engine that had been enlarged to 380cc in hopes of taking advantage of the bike's lightweight and agility against their more powerful competition. In spite of development problems, Reggiani managed a 10th place in the 1995 season. He retired from competition after the 1995 season. He won a total of 8 Grands Prix during his career.
Jean-Philippe Ruggia is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from France. His best year was in 1995 when he finished in fifth place in the 250cc world championship. He won two races in 1993 riding for Aprilia and ended the season ranked sixth. He was also moderately successful in the 500cc class, finishing 8th overall in 1990. He is also the first rider known to use the elbow down riding style, years before Marc Márquez popularized the riding style in Grand Prix racing.
Dominique Sarron is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from France. His best year was in 1986 when he won the Brazilian Grand Prix and finished in third place in the 250cc world championship behind Carlos Lavado and Sito Pons. He won two races in 1988 riding for Honda and ended the season ranked fourth.
Noboru "Nobby" Ueda is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He was exclusively a 125 class rider. Ueda began his Grand Prix career with a win in his inaugural race at the 1991 Japanese Grand Prix. His best seasons were in 1994, when he finished second in the 125cc world championship behind Kazuto Sakata and in 1997, when he finished second behind Valentino Rossi. After a twelve-year career in Grand Prix competition, he announced his retirement at the end of the 2002 season, citing the need to let his body recuperate after several racing injuries. Ueda won 13 Grand Prix races during his career. He now runs his own team known as Team Nobby, which competes in the All Japan Road Race Championship in the J-GP3 class.
Team LCR is a motorcycle racing team currently competing in the MotoGP World Championship under the name LCR Honda. The team was founded in 1996 by Italian rider Lucio Cecchinello. In 2015, they were represented by British rider Cal Crutchlow on a factory-specification Honda RC213V bike, and Australian rookie Jack Miller, riding an open-specification Honda RC213V-RS. However, the team downgraded to a single bike for Crutchlow in 2016, as Miller moved to the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Team.
Stefan Bradl is a German motorcycle racer. He is the 2011 Moto2 World Champion, and the son of former racer Helmut Bradl. As of 2017, Bradl competes in the Superbike World Championship, where he rides a Honda CBR1000RR.
Marc Márquez Alentà is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle road racer and one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time with seven Grand Prix world championships to his name - five of which are in the premier MotoGP class. Márquez races for Honda's factory team since his MotoGP debut in 2013. He is nicknamed the 'Ant of Cervera' worldwide and 'el tro de Cervera' locally in his hometown, meaning the 'Thunder of Cervera'. He is one of four riders to have won world championship titles in three different categories, after Mike Hailwood, Phil Read and Valentino Rossi. Marquez is often considered one of the greatest innovators of modern MotoGP racing, due to his comparatively exaggerated cornering technique of leaning so far over the bike he seems to be “in constant danger of sliding out”.
Samuel Deane "Sam" Lowes is a British motorcycle racer from Lincoln, Lincolnshire competing in the Moto2 World Championship for Kalex during 2019. He is the twin brother of World Superbike rider Alex Lowes.
The 2013 United States motorcycle Grand Prix was the ninth round of the 2013 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, and the second of three races in the 2013 season to take place in the United States of America. It was held on 21 July at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California. Like always, only a MotoGP class race was held at Laguna Seca.
