The National League is a professional football league in England that consists of 72 teams, divided equally between the National League (division), National League North and National League South. The National League is one of the major professional sports leagues in England.
The Combined Counties Football League is a regional men's football league in south-eastern England with members in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Jersey, Kent, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Surrey, and the western half of Greater London, featuring a number of semi-professional clubs. It is sponsored by Cherry Red Records and is officially known as the Cherry Red Records Combined Counties Football League.

The league consisted of a single division which sat at Step 5 of the National League System, or the ninth level of the overall English football league system.
The Southern Counties East Football League is an English football league established in 1966, which has teams based in Kent and Southeast London. Its two divisions are allocated at Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System. At its inception it was known for two seasons as the Kent Premier League and then, until 2013, as the Kent League.
The Hellenic Football League, currently known as the uhlsport Hellenic Football League for sponsorship reasons, is an English men's football league covering an area including the English counties of Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, southern Herefordshire, southern Warwickshire, northern Wiltshire and southern Worcestershire. Wellington Football Club are a football club based in the village of Wellington, Herefordshire, England. The club is affiliated to the Herefordshire County FA. They were re-formed in 1968. In the 2003–04 season, they reached the third round of the FA Vase. They are currently members of the Hellenic League Division One. They returned to the league in 2024, having resigned before the 2021–22 season. Although officially named simply Wellington F.C., the county in which they play is sometimes appended to their name to differentiate them from the similarly named Wellington A.F.C. based in Somerset.

The Senior Cup, was formed in 1951 when Ansells Brewery presented Herefordshire FA with the trophy. In the early days the Senior cup became an annual invitation Final. The final often varied in the early years between being a two legged affair or a single match. In 2009 the competition was merged with the much older competition known as the County Challenge Cup, is the county cup for the Herefordshire County Football Association (HCFA). According to the current rules of the competition, it is open to all clubs whose affiliation is with the HCFA. The current holders are Westfields F.C. who won the 2023 competition.
Hereford Football Club is an English association football club from the city of Hereford. They were founded in 2014 as a phoenix club for Hereford United, and inherited their Edgar Street stadium. They are nicknamed 'The Whites' after their predominantly white kit, or 'The Bulls' after the Hereford cattle breed, and their motto is 'Our greatest glory lies not in never having fallen, but in rising when we fall'. The club is affiliated to the Herefordshire County Football Association.

The 2017–18 West Midlands (Regional) League season was the 118th in the history of the West Midlands (Regional) League, an English association football competition for semi-professional and amateur teams based in the West Midlands county, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and southern Staffordshire. The league operates three divisions: the Premier Division, see below, at level 10 in the English football league system, Division One at level 11, and Division Two. The Premier Division is one of three divisions which feed into the Midland League Premier Division, the other two being the East Midlands Counties League and the Midland League's own Division One.
