The Hong Kong Ice Hockey Association (HKIHA) is the governing body of ice hockey in Hong Kong.
HKIHA was admitted to the International Ice Hockey Federation on April 30,1983. It is one of the IIHF's full members. The current chairman is Yeung Kit Kan. [1]
HKIHA is mainly responsible for organizing the games of the Hong Kong national ice hockey team,as well as the national women's and junior teams. The association also organizes the game operations for the Hong Kong Ice Hockey League.
In September 2021, SCMP published an article which detailed multiple complaints against the association,from former coaches and players. [2] They accused the association of lacking transparency in corporate governance,as well as conflicts of interest between the chairman and the association,causing the development of the sport to be hampered. [2] Some of those interviewed claimed that they had been frustrated with the association from the 1990s,and that letters to the LCSD had not fixed anything. [2]
Danmarks Ishockey Union or DIU is the governing body of ice hockey in Denmark. It is a member of the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark (DIF) and the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The association was founded on 27 November 1949 and became a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation the same year.
The Swedish Ice Hockey Association in Swedish,is an association of Swedish ice hockey clubs. It was established in Stockholm on 17 November 1922 by representatives from seven clubs. The tournament was won by Hong Kong,who claimed their first title after winning all five of their games.

They are controlled by the Federation of Ice Hockey League (FIHL) and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since May 20,2016. Prior to that period,a national team has played in regional tournaments in Hong Kong since the 2000s.
Ice hockey at the 2017 Asian Winter Games was held in Sapporo,Japan between 18–26 February at three venues.
The India men's national junior ice hockey team is the men's national under-20 ice hockey team of India. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Association of India,and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). In December 2017 the team made their international debut at the 2018 IIHF U20 Challenge Cup of Asia where they finished in last place after losing all of their games.
