Hope Bender (born January 2, 1997, in Newport Beach, California) is an American track and field athlete, known for multiple events and hurdles. She competes for the Santa Barbara Track Club. Bender studied to be a Biotechnology engineer.
Hope Bender competed in Des Moines, Iowa, at the 2019 USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships and Clovis, California, at the 2016 USATF Junior Championships.

While at Newport Beach, California Newport Harbor High School, she was a 2015 CIF CIF California State Meet finalist at 300 meters hurdles after competing in the 2015 CIF Southern Section track and field championships.
Bender won 100 meters hurdles at 2015 Mt. SAC Relays in 14.69.
Bender placed 2nd in the 100 m hurdles at 2015 Arcadia Invitational.
Hope Bender's best times were 200 m - 25.40 s, 400 m - 57.09 s, 100 m hurdles - 14.35 s, 300 m hurdles - 42.18 s, shot put - 10.25 m (33 ft 7+1⁄2 in), and long jump - 4.65 m (15 ft 3 in). [15]
Bender competed in Motocross from 5–10 years old and Equestrian through 10th grade. [16]
The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos are the intercollegiate athletic teams who represent the University of California, Santa Barbara. Referred to in athletic competition as UC Santa Barbara or UCSB, the Gauchos participate in 19 NCAA Division I intercollegiate sports with the majority competing in the Big West Conference. UCSB currently fields varsity teams in 10 men's sports and 9 women's sports.

Muhammad was second at both the 2013 and 2017 World Championships to take her first gold in 2019, setting the former world record of 52.16 s. She was the second female 400 m hurdler in history, after Sally Gunnell, to have won the Olympic, World titles and broken the world record. At both the 2019 World Championships and Tokyo Games, she also took gold as part of women's 4 × 400 metres relay team.

He is a three-time world champion, 2020 Tokyo Olympic silver medalist in the 110 meters hurdles and the second-fastest man in history at the event with a personal best of 12.81 seconds, set at the U.S. Olympic Trials on June 26, 2021. In the 60 meters hurdles, Holloway is the 2022 World Indoor champion and the world indoor record holder with a time of 7.29 seconds set in Madrid, Spain on February 24, 2021.
