Howlin' is the debut album by Australian dance-rock band Jagwar Ma. It was released in June 2013 under Mom + Pop Music in the United States, Marathon in the United Kingdom and Europe, and Future Classic in Australia and New Zealand.
At the J Awards of 2013, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. [15]
The album was written and performed by band members Jono Ma and Gabriel Winterfield, and recorded and produced by Ma. It was mixed primarily by Ewan Pearson with additional mixes by Ma, Anthony Garvin and Steve Dub.

In 2001, the band regrouped and added James Valentine to the lineup, and pursued a new direction under the name Maroon 5.
Ghostwood were an Australian alternative-indie band formed in 2006. The original line-up, known as the Ghosts, was Tom Crandles on bass guitar, Patrick Harrowsmith on lead guitar, James West on drums and Gabriel Winterield on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. They changed their name and were signed to Modular Recordings, which issued their self-titled extended play in August 2007. The group toured Australia in that year and then travelled to the United Kingdom during 2008 and 2009. They split up in 2011 with Winterfield joining Jagwar Ma. In mid-2019 they released their debut studio album, The Lost Album, which had been recorded ten years earlier.

Jagwar Ma is an Australian psychedelic dance band formed in Sydney in 2011. It consists of Gabriel Winterfield, Jono Ma, and bass guitarist Jack Freeman, who joined in 2012. The band name is derived from a satirical compound of the word "jaguar" and Jono's surname. In 2013, Jagwar Ma signed with record labels Mom+Pop (US), Marathon Artists (EU), and Future Classic (Australia) and released its debut album Howlin'. It released its second album Every Now and Then on 14 October 2016.
Salute is the second studio album by British girl group Little Mix, released on 8 November 2013 through Syco Music and Columbia Records. The album was mostly co-written by Little Mix, who stated that they were more involved in the development of this album compared to their debut album DNA. The album was preceded by the lead single "Move", and included two further singles, "Little Me", and "Salute". It is also one of two studio albums by the group to not feature any collaborations.

5 Seconds of Summer is the debut studio album by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. It was released by Capitol Records on 27 June 2014 in Europe and on 22 July 2014 in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The album was supported by four singles: "She Looks So Perfect", "Don't Stop", "Amnesia", and "Good Girls". Musically, the album is rooted in the pop punk, pop rock and power pop genres. Before the album's release, the band was the opening act for One Direction in from 2013-2015 on three of their concert tours. Made in the A.M. is the fifth and final studio album by English-Irish boy band One Direction, released on 13 November 2015 by Columbia Records and Syco Music. It was the band's first album without Zayn Malik, who left the group eight months earlier, and the last released before the group entered an indefinite hiatus the following year. It is One Direction's last album to be released before the death of member Liam Payne, on 16 October 2024. It was the year's sixth best-selling album worldwide, with 2.4 million copies sold, and received generally favourable critical reviews.
