Seal Henry Olusegun Olumide Adeola Samuel is a British singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is the recipient of three Brit Awards, four Grammy Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award, with sold 20 million albums or singles sold by October 2011. He signed with record producer Trevor Horn's ZTT Records to release his eponymous debut studio album (1991). Met with critical and commercial success, it spawned the singles "Crazy" and "Killer", which peaked at numbers two and one on the UK singles chart, respectively, while both entered the US Billboard Hot 100. His 1994 single, "Kiss from a Rose", peaked atop the latter chart after its inclusion on the film soundtracks for The NeverEnding Story III and Batman Forever.
"Don't Speak" is a song by American rock band No Doubt, featured on their third studio album, Tragic Kingdom (1995). Released as the album's third single in 1996 by Interscope Records, the song was initially written as a love song by lead singer Gwen Stefani and her brother, former band member Eric Stefani. However, after several revisions, Gwen reworked the lyrics into a breakup song, reflecting the end of her seven-year relationship with bandmate Tony Kanal.

Dan Seals was an American country music artist. Formerly one half of the soft rock duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, Seals split from the duo in 1980 and began a country music career. As a solo artist, Seals released 13 studio albums, six compilation albums, and 37 singles. Eleven of his singles reached number one on the U.S. Billboard country singles charts, including nine consecutive number ones between 1985 and 1989. Seals' best-selling album in the U.S. is 1987's The Best, certified platinum by the RIAA.
