Hutt Island is a small island located off the coast of Bowen Island, British Columbia, Canada. It was named after Captain John Hutt, captain of HMS Queen in the battle of the Glorious First of June.

HMS Byron was a US-built Captain class frigate of the Royal Navy during World War II. Named after Vice Admiral The Honourable John Byron whose frequent encounters with bad weather in ensuing years won him the sobriquet, "Foul Weather Jack". Originally laid down as DE-79, a turbo-electric (TE) type Buckley-class destroyer escort, she was diverted to the Royal Navy and named HMS Byron before the launch.
Mudge Island is one of the Southern Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia, in British Columbia (BC), Canada. It lies between Gabriola Island and Vancouver Island, and is considered part of the De Courcy group of islands. It is about 0.8 km (0.50 mi) wide and 4 km (2.5 mi) long. Dodd Narrows separates Mudge Island from Vancouver Island and False Narrows separates it from Gabriola Island. The northern tip of the island is the southern limit of the Port of Nanaimo and the southern most point of Northumberland Channel. Stuart Channel is south of Mudge Island.

Deering Island is a small island in Vancouver, British Columbia, in the North Arm of the Fraser River. It is mostly residential and connected to the rest of Vancouver by the Deering Island Bridge. Residential development, consisting mostly of luxury homes, began there in 1988 and continued into the 1990s. The island was previously a shipyard owned by B.C. Packers. It has a city park, Deering Island Park.
