Iola is a village in Clay County, Illinois, United States. The population was 98 at the 2020 census.
Iola is located in northwestern Clay County at 38°50′1″N88°37′40″W / 38.83361°N 88.62778°W (38.833717, -88.627785). [3] Louisville, the county seat, is 9 miles (14 km) to the southwest.

There were 47 housing units at an average density of 48.76 per square mile (18.83/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 94.90% White, 2.04% from other races, and 3.06% from two or more races. No residents reported an ethnicity of Hispanic or Latino.
There were 34 households, out of which 58.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.59% were married couples living together, 0.00% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.65% were non-families. 8.82% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.88% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
