Ipswich is an unincorporated community located in the town of Elk Grove, Wisconsin, Lafayette County Wisconsin, United States. [1]
A post office called Ipswich was established in 1886, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1921. [2] The community was named after Ipswich in England via Ipswich, Massachusetts. [3]

Lafayette County, sometimes spelled La Fayette County, is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It was part of the Wisconsin Territory at the time of its founding. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,836. Its county seat is Darlington. The county was named in honor of the Marquis de Lafayette, the French general who rendered assistance to the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War. The courthouse scenes from the 2009 film Public Enemies were filmed at the Lafayette County Courthouse in Darlington.
Cuba City is a city partly in Grant County and partly in Lafayette County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 2,086 at the 2010 census. Of this, 1,877 were in Grant County, and 209 were in Lafayette County. The city is nicknamed "The City of Presidents" because of the presidential banners displayed along the city's Main Street.
Elmhurst is an unincorporated community in Langlade County in the State of Wisconsin in the United States of America. It is located at latitude 45°3'30" North, longitude 89°11'3" West. The community is located near the headwaters of the Middle Branch Embarrass River, approximately 1½ miles west of the junction of WIS 47, WIS 52 and U.S. Highway 45 in the Town of Rolling. A track of the Chicago and North Western Railway runs along the west side of the community. Elmhurst is located at 1,476 feet (450 m) above sea level.

Today little more remains of the community than the name of the road that traverses it: "Hunting Road."
