According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Isabel Township has a total area of 29.37 square miles (76.07 km2), of which 29.23 square miles (75.71 km2) (or 99.54%) is land and 0.14 square miles (0.36 km2) (or 0.46%) is water. [3]
The township contains six cemeteries: Duncan, Farris, Foutch, Freeman, Kearney and Otto.
As of the 2020 census [1] there were 175 people, 99 households, and 99 families residing in the township. The population density was 5.96 inhabitants per square mile (2.30/km2). There were 97 housing units at an average density of 3.30 per square mile (1.27/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 97.71% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.14% from other races, and 1.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.57% of the population.
There were 99 households, out of which 31.30% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 100.00% were married couples living together, none had a female householder with no spouse present, and none were non-families. No households were made up of individuals. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 2.66.
The township's age distribution consisted of 16.0% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 6.1% from 25 to 44, 45.6% from 45 to 64, and 24.0% who were 65 years of age or older.
