Ithycyphus goudoti is a species of snake in the family Pseudoxyrhophiidae. ^[2] The species is venomous to other animals, but harmless to humans due to the weak nature of the venom. ^[3]

Description

The species is slender, with a flattened head, and generally with distinct color patterns in gray, yellow, or uniform red with some small darker spots. ^[4] It is sexually dimorphic. ^[3]

Distribution and habitat

The species is endemic to several regions of Madagascar. ^{[2] [3]} It can survive in a variety of habitats including rainforest, dry deciduous forest, and spiny thickets. ^[5]
