Jemma Louise Barsby (born 4 October 1995) is an Australian cricketer who plays for Queensland Fire and Adelaide Strikers. [1]
An all-rounder who can bowl with both hands,Barsby is the daughter of former Queensland Bulls opening batsman and coach Trevor Barsby. She developed her ambidextrous off spin bowling skills as a child in her backyard,with assistance from her brother and encouragement from her father,and also has a penchant for switch hitting while batting. In October 2010,Barsby made her debut for Queensland Fire,after touring with the Shooting Stars squad. [2] She has been a member of the Brisbane Heat squad since its inaugural WBBL01 season (2015–16). [5] As she was preparing for that inaugural season,she started experiencing shoulder pain and later numbness in her fingers;after testing,she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. [6] [7]
Barsby and her Brisbane Heat teammates have since participated in charity events for MS Queensland. As of January 2017 [update] ,her MS symptoms were still mild;she was on daily medication,and was also using an ice vest on really hot days. [4]
In November 2018,she was named in Brisbane Heat's squad for the 2018–19 Women's Big Bash League season. [8] [9] In October 2019,she signed with Perth Scorchers and in six games,averaged 21.25 with the bat and 37.00 with the ball.
Jessica Louise Jonassen is an Australian cricketer from Rockhampton,Queensland. A left-arm orthodox bowler,Jonassen has been a member of the national women's team since 2012,going on to win four ICC T20 World Cups while becoming the fourth woman to have taken 100 One Day International wickets for Australia. Domestically,she is the current captain of both the Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Brisbane Heat in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL).
Delissa Maree Kimmince is an Australian former cricketer and Australian rules footballer who played for the national cricket team as an all-rounder. She is a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler who played for Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and the Brisbane Heat in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL). In April 2021,Kimmince announced her retirement from top-level cricket.

They proceeded to defeat the Brisbane Heat and the Melbourne Renegades in sudden death encounters to book a place in the Final against the Perth Scorchers at Perth Stadium on 27 November 2021. In the championship decider,the Strikers were defeated by 12 runs,resulting in their second runners-up finish in three seasons.
