The Jersey women's cricket team is the team that represents the Crown dependency of Jersey in international women's cricket matches. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2005, and an associate member in 2007. [4]
In 2012, Jersey won the European Women's Cricket Festival hosted in Utrecht, defeating Germany in the final. [5]
In April 2018, the ICC granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Jersey women and other ICC members after 1 July 2018 have the full WT20I status. [6]
Jersey played their first WT20I on 31 May 2019, losing to neighbours Guernsey by seven wickets in the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup at College Field, Saint Peter Port. [7] [8] [9]
They got their first WT20I win later that year when they defeated Norway by seven wickets on 1 August on day two of the 2019 France Women's T20I Quadrangular Series held in Nantes. With four victories and two defeats, Jersey finished second behind hosts France in the tournament which also included Austria. [10] [11] Jersey's squad at the event featured several players still at school including Nia Greig who, aged just 11 years and 40 days, became the youngest-ever international cricketer when she played in the islanders' opening match against the French. Trinity Smith scored the first WT20I half-century for Jersey on 6 May 2022, hitting 59 not out off 43 balls against Spain at the 2022 France Women's T20I Quadrangular Series. [14] [15] Unbeaten throughout, Jersey won the tournament in Dreux which also included France and Austria. [16] [17] [18]
The following month, Jersey won the newly-expanded Women's T20I Inter-Insular Cup winning all three matches at home against Guernsey. [19]
In January 2023, it was announced that Jersey had been chosen to host the inaugural 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier division two tournament to be staged in May and June. [20] [21]
At the event, the islanders finished third out of six teams to narrowly miss out on progressing to the next stage of qualification. During the competition, Chloe Greechan became the first Jersey woman to take a five-wicket haul in WT20Is when she bagged 5/4 in a 108-run win against Sweden on 2 June 2023. [22] [23]
Later that month, Jersey played Guernsey in the 2023 edition of the Women's T20I Inter-Insular Cup at King George V Sports Ground in Castel. For the second successive year they swept the contest 3-0 with the highlight being the third match where they scored their highest total in a WT20I to date - 196/3 - before dismissing the hosts for 39 to win by 157 runs which was a new record for their biggest winning margin. Jersey retained the WT20I Inter-insular Cup for a third year in a row in 2024, winning a one-off match at Grainville Cricket Ground in St Saviour by 104 runs. Put into bat, the islanders' scored 157 all out with Charlie Miles making 68 off 42 balls, before they dismissed Guernsey for just 53 as Sophia Hanson took 3/7. [25] [26]

The Jersey men's cricket team is the team that represents the Bailiwick of Jersey, a Crown dependency, in international cricket. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2005, and an associate member in 2007.
The Uganda women's national cricket team represents Uganda in international women's cricket. They played their first matches as part of a triangular series that also involved Kenya and Kenya's A side in January 2006. They played in the African regional qualifiers for the 2009 World Cup in December 2006 against Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. They finished third in the tournament.
The Malaysian women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Malaysia in international women's cricket matches. The team made its debut against Singapore on 30 April 2006, winning by 58 runs. In August 2017, Malaysia won the bronze medal in the women's tournament at the 2017 Southeast Asian Games.
The Thailand women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Thailand in international women's cricket matches. Thailand is one of the strongest associate teams in women's international cricket and has been ranked as high as tenth in the ICC Women's T20I rankings.
Charles Walter "Chuggy" Perchard is a Jersey international cricketer. He has captained the team since 2017.
The Nigeria women's national cricket team represents the country of Nigeria in international women's cricket. The team is organised by the Nigeria Cricket Federation, which has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2002.

The Fiji women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Fiji in international Women's cricket matches. Guernsey cricket team hosted Jersey cricket team from 31 May to 1 June 2019 to contest the 2019 T20 Inter-Insular Cup, consisted of three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series took place at two grounds in Guernsey: College Field in Saint Peter Port and King George V Sports Ground in Castel. The two sides had played an Inter-Insular match annually since 1950, generally as 50-over contests. A Twenty20 series was played for the first time in 2018, with Jersey winning the inaugural series 3–0.

The 2022 Associate international cricket season was from approximately May to September 2022. All official twenty over matches between Associate members of the ICC were eligible to have full Twenty20 International (T20I) or Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted T20I status to matches between all of its members from 1 July 2018 and 1 January 2019. The season included all T20I/WT20I cricket series mostly involving ICC Associate members, that were played in addition to series covered in International cricket in 2022. In July 2022, Cambodia, the Ivory Coast and Uzbekistan were all awarded Associate Membership of the ICC.
The Sweden women's national cricket team represents the country of Sweden in women's cricket matches.
The 2022–23 Associate international cricket season was from approximately September 2022 to April 2023. All official twenty over matches between Associate members of the ICC were eligible to have full Twenty20 International (T20I) or Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status, as the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted T20I status to matches between all of its members from 1 July 2018 and 1 January 2019. The season included all T20I/WT20I cricket series mostly involving ICC Associate members, that were played in addition to series covered in International cricket in 2022–23. The 2023 ACC Men's Challenger Cup and the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup, which formed the qualification pathway for the 2023 Asia Cup, were also played during this period.
Chloe May Greechan is a sportswoman from Jersey. She plays for the Jersey women's cricket team, for which she has been captain since 2020, and is the first woman from the island to take a five-wicket haul in WT20Is. Greechan is also a former world champion in indoor bowls.
Trinity Smith is a cricketer who plays for the Jersey women's cricket team. She is the first Jersey woman to score a half-century in a WT20I. Smith is also the first player from the island - male or female - to be nominated for an ICC Player of the Month Award.
Grace Wetherall is a cricketer who plays for the Jersey women's cricket team. She is the first player to score a WT20I half-century batting at number eight. As of July 2024 she remains the only person to achieve this feat.
