Ownership and licensing

The station operates on 103.9 FM with a focus on the Country format.

The station was assigned the KEBG call sign by the Federal Communications Commission on August 30, 2007. [3] The station was licensed by the FCC on December 2, 2009. In April 2011, the call sign was changed to KBGZ. The HD2 program has since been discontinued, and the station now exclusively broadcasts on the main FM frequency.

On November 26, 2007, an application was submitted to the FCC for a License to cover for KEBG. Effective May 31, 2022, KBGZ, sister stations KHIX and KUOL, and True Country Classics, and Coyote Rock, and Talk Radio, were sold to Global One Media.

HD Radio

On May 8, 2025, K263BD 100.5 FM/KBGZ's HD4 subchannel changed their format from classic country to active rock, branded as "Overdrive 100.5". [4]
