Karen Tatiana Palomeque Moreno (born 6 July 1994) is a Colombian Paralympic athlete who competes in sprinting and long jump events at international track and field competitions. She is a five-time Parapan American Games champion and a three-time World Champion, she is also a world record holder for the 100m and 200m in her sports classification. [1] [2] [3]

Alfredo Stéfano Di Stéfano Laulhé was a professional footballer and coach who played as a forward, regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. Andrés Alejandro Palomeque González was a Mexican luchador. He is best known for appearing under the stage name Abismo Negro, which is Spanish for "Black Abyss", in the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) promotion. Before appearing under the ring name Abismo Negro, Palomeque worked for five years under the alias "[the] Winners" and before that also wrestled as the characters "Alex Dinamo", "Pequeño Samurai", and "Furor" for short periods. Palomeque owned and operated the Gimnasio Abismo Negro, a wrestling school where individuals were trained to become professional wrestlers.

Marileidy Paulino is a Dominican athlete sprinter specializing in the 400 meters. She won the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first woman from the Dominican Republic to earn an individual Olympic medal in athletics. At the subsequent Summer Olympics in Paris, she won the gold medal in the 400 metres event, becoming only the third person from the Dominican Republic to win an Olympic gold medal. Paulino also took silver at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. At these competitions, she also earned silver and gold in the mixed 4×400 m relay respectively, running legs of 48.7 s in 2021 and 48.47 s in 2022. Since May 2023, Paulino is the 400 m ranked world No. 1.
