Katy Hall is an American politician who is a member of the Utah House of Representatives from District 11. She represents Davis and Weber counties. [1] [2]
Salt Lake County is located in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2020 United States census,the population was 1,185,238,making it the most populous county in Utah. Its county seat and largest city is Salt Lake City,the state capital. The county was created in 1850. Salt Lake County is the 37th most populated county in the United States and is one of four counties in the Rocky Mountains to make it into the top 100. Salt Lake County has been the only county of the first class in Utah –under the Utah Code is a county with a population of 700,000 or greater. Although,Utah County directly to the south has recently reached this threshold.
Katy is a city in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the Greater Katy area,itself forming the western part of the Greater Houston metropolitan area. Homes and businesses may have Katy postal addresses without being in the City of Katy. The city of Katy is approximately centered at the tripoint of Harris,Fort Bend,and Waller counties. Katy had a population of 21,894 at the 2020 U.S. census,up from 14,102 in 2010.
The National Statuary Hall is a chamber in the United States Capitol devoted to sculptures of prominent Americans. The hall,also known as the Old Hall of the House,is a large,two-story,semicircular room with a second story gallery along the curved perimeter. It is located immediately south of the Rotunda. The meeting place of the U.S. House of Representatives for nearly 50 years (1807–1857),after a few years of disuse it was repurposed as a statuary hall in 1864;this is when the National Statuary Hall Collection was established. By 1933,the collection had outgrown this single room,and a number of statues are placed elsewhere within the Capitol.

Each state elects two senators to serve for six years. Before the Seventeenth Amendment in 1913,senators were elected by the Utah State Legislature. Before becoming a state,the Territory of Utah elected a non-voting delegate at-large to Congress from 1850 to 1896.
Texas's 7th congressional district of the United States House of Representatives comprises a small area of southwestern Houston and Harris County,along with a northern portion of suburban Fort Bend County. As of the 2000 census,the 7th district comprises 651,620 people. Since 2019,it has been represented by Democrat Lizzie Fletcher.
The 1984 United States House of Representatives elections was an election for the United States House of Representatives on November 6,1984,to elect members to serve in the 99th United States Congress. They coincided with the re-election of President Ronald Reagan in a landslide. This victory also yielded gains for Reagan's Republican Party in the House,where they picked up a net of sixteen seats from the Democratic Party. Despite Reagan's extremely large electoral victory,the Democrats nonetheless retained a commanding majority in the House and actually gained seats in the Senate. These elections were the last until 2020 when a member of a political party other than the Democrats,Republicans,or an independent had one or more seats in the chamber.

A Republican,Owens was first elected to Congress in 2020,when he narrowly defeated incumbent Democrat Ben McAdams in the 2020 election. Owens is one of four black Republicans in the House of Representatives.
