Surrey Wildlife Trust (SWT) was founded in 1959 as Surrey Naturalists' Trust and it is one of forty-six wildlife trusts covering Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Alderney. SWT carries out conservation activities on a considerable area of Surrey County Council's large countryside estate and also manages land on behalf of the Ministry of Defence estate. As of 2022 the SWT manages more than 6,000 hectares of land for wildlife and employs more than 100 staff. It had an income of £5.1 million and expenditure of £5.7 million.
Chappetts Copse is a 12-hectare (30-acre) nature reserve east of West Meon in Hampshire. It is owned and managed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.
Moor Copse is a 65-hectare (160-acre) nature reserve west of Reading in Berkshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust. Parts of it are in Sulham and Tidmarsh Woods and Meadows, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Chiddingfold Forest is a 542.5-hectare (1,341-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Chiddingfold in Surrey and West Sussex. One part of it, Fir Tree Copse, is a nature reserve which is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust
Thorpe Hay Meadow is a 6.4-hectare (16-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest west of Staines-upon-Thames in Surrey. It is owned and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
Vann Lake and Ockley Woods is a 57.8-hectare (143-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south of Ockley in Surrey. Vann Lake is part of Vann Lake and Candy's Copse, a nature reserve managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
Pamber Forest and Silchester Common is a 341.7-hectare (844-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Tadley in Hampshire. Pamber Forest and Upper Inhams Copse is managed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and Pamber Forest is a Local Nature Reserve.
The Centre for Wildlife Gardening is a 0.22-hectare (0.54-acre) nature reserve in Peckham in the London Borough of Southwark. It is owned by Southwark Council and managed by the London Wildlife Trust. It is a Site of Borough Importance for Nature Conservation, Grade I.
Burner's Heath and Swallows Pond is a 5-hectare (12-acre) nature reserve in Pirbright in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
Edolph's Copse is a 27.6-hectare (68-acre) Local Nature Reserve west of Horley in Surrey. It is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust.
Lingfield Wildlife Area is a 6.3-hectare (16-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Lingfield in Surrey. It is owned by Tandridge District Council and managed by the Lingfield Wildlife Area Committee.
Chitty's Common is a 5-hectare (12-acre) nature reserve in Guildford in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
Inholms Clay Pit is a 8.4-hectare (21-acre) Local Nature Reserve south of Dorking in Surrey. It is owned by Mole Valley District Council and from 2009 - 2019 was managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust and since then by Mole Valley District Council.
