Milford Green and Coxhill Green is a 15-hectare (37-acre) nature reserve south-east of Chobham in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust. [1]
These greens have wet and dry woodland with several ponds. Milford Green is mainly oak with other trees such as silver birch, horse chestnut, sweet chestnut, beech and elm. Coxhill Green is broad-leaved woodland with an area of Scots pine. [1]
Combe Bottom is a 42.1-hectare (104-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Shere in Surrey. It is designated a Local Nature Reserve called Shere Woodlands, and is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
New Cross Gate Cutting or Brockley Nature Reserve is a 4.2 hectare nature reserve in Brockley in the London Borough of Lewisham. It is a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation managed by the London Wildlife Trust. This designated green space runs alongside the East London Line between Brockley and New Cross Gate, on the forest site that once lay on the Kent and Surrey border known as Hatcham Wood. The entrance is on Vesta Road situated between Barriedale in Brockley and Sandbourne Road, Telegraph Hill.
