Knocklofty Formation (Tasmania)

The Knocklofty Formation is an Early Triassic geologic formation from southern Tasmania, Australia, belonging to the Induan stage. [1] It was deposited in a terrestrial, freshwater environment, and is primarily composed of shale and sandstone. [2]
