Kochuveli - Mangaluru Junction - Kochuveli Antyodaya S.F Express is an bi weekly Superfast Express of antyodaya express category train belonging to Thiruvananthapuram division, Southern Railway zone that runs between Kochuveli in Kerala and Mangaluru Junction in Karnataka . It operates with 16355/16356 [2] train numbers on bi-weekly basis. [3] It is the first unpainted stainless steel train of India. This train answers the long standing demand of the people of North Kerala for a fourth train to the capital. This is the fastest bi weekly night train that runs from Mangaluru junction to Kochuveli that covers the distance of 620 km in 11 hours 35 min time . It is fully Unreserved General class train of Indian Railways.
The train runs two times/week. Widespread protests erupted when the train didn't stop at Tirur, Kasaragod, and Alappuzha, questioning the need for this train. Several MLAs blocked the train at Kasaragod demanding a stop there.
The Mangaluru to Kochuveli train (16356) leaves Mangaluru junction every Friday and Sunday at 8 PM and reaches Kochuveli at 8.15 AM the next day. The reverse train (16355) leaves Kochuveli every Thursday and Saturday at 9.25 PM and reaches Mangaluru Jn. at 9.15 AM the next day.
The trains offers only LHB general coaches (unreserved) designed by Indian Railways. LED screen display shows information about stations, train speed etc. Vending machines offer water. Toilets in compartments as well as CCTV cameras and mobile charging points are present. The rake of this train is shared with NAGERCOIL -TAMBARAM ANTYODAYA EXPRESS services. Maintenance is done at Kochuveli.

It runs always full by having more stoppages in northern Kerala beginning from Palakkad Junction to Kasaragod. It also has nine stoppages at Tamilnadu and it does not have any other stoppages in Karnataka except Mangalore Central
The 22659 / 22660 Kochuveli-Yog Nagari Rishikesh Superfast Express is a Superfast Express train belonging to Indian Railways - Southern Railway zone that runs between Kochuveli and Yog Nagari Rishikesh in India. This train runs via Alappuzha. From April 2021, the service to Dehradun was discontinued permanently and was diverted permanently to Yog Nagari Rishikesh and was renamed as Kochuveli - Yog Nagari Rishikesh Superfast Express. The slip coaches to Haridwar also discontinued and extended to Yog Nagari Rishikesh. Therefore it won't go to Dehradun; instead it was diverted permanently to Yog Nagari Rishikesh.

The 20631/20632 Mangaluru Central - Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express is India's 33rd Vande Bharat Express train, connecting South Karnataka's coastal city Mangaluru (Mangalore) with Kerala's south and state capital Thiruvananthapuram. It is the second Vande Bharat Express in Kerala as well as India's first saffron coloured semi-high speed train. The first Vande Bharat train in Kerala started its service between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram via Kottayam route in April 2023. With increase in patronage, there has been a strong demand by the passengers to have a second Vande Bharat between Mangalore and Thiruvananthapuram so as to increase the frequency of this route per day to three trains.
