The Komazawa Hockey Field was a venue constructed in Tokyo, Japan for the field hockey competitions of 1964 Summer Olympics. Although there were three hockey fields, it marked the first time the field hockey was played in one single venue for the Summer Olympics since the 1920 Games.
The first hockey field seated 2056 and had a playing field measuring 104.4 metres (114 yards) long by 66 metres (72 yards) wide. It also featured an electronic scoreboard. Construction occurred between December 1962 and June 1964.
The second hockey field seated 3432 with 1542 temporary seats and had a playing field measuring 115 metres (126 yards) long by 80 metres (87 yards) wide. It also featured an electronic scoreboard. Construction occurred between December 1962 and June 1964.
The third hockey field seated 2343 and had a playing field measuring 9,900 square metres (11,800 square yards). Construction occurred between December 1962 and September 1964.

A cricket field is a large grass field on which the game of cricket is played. Opened in 2012, the 12,000-seat arena was primarily constructed to host hockey competitions during the 2014 Winter Olympics. Following the Games, it became the home arena of HC Sochi, an expansion team of the KHL. The arena has also hosted concerts and other events. Prior to the Games, the arena hosted the IIHF World U18 Championships and Channel One Cup in 2013.

For the 1956 Summer Olympics, events were staged in a total of thirteen sports venues in Melbourne, Victoria, one in Ballarat, Victoria, and three sports venues in Stockholm, Sweden. The equestrian events took place in Stockholm in June 1956, due to Australia's strict quarantine laws on equestrianism, and the other Olympic events took place in Melbourne later in the year, between late November and early December.
For the 1964 Summer Olympics, a total of thirty-three sports venues were used. Six of the venues were built before the International Olympic Committee awarded the 1964 Games to Tokyo in 1959. Eastern Sportsground also known as Olympic Park No.2 was a multi-purpose outdoor stadium located on Olympic Boulevard in inner Melbourne. The stadium was built as a field hockey venue for the 1956 Olympics. It was primarily used for greyhound racing and was the home of the Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association (MGRA) from 1962 until 1996. The first tenants were the Victorian Amateur Football Association from 1956 until 1961 and Olympic Park No.2 was formerly part of the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Precinct.
Maiden Castle sports centre, also known as the Graham Sports Centre and the Durham University Sport and Wellbeing Park, is the main sports complex at Durham University and the home for many of the university's teams. It also stages professional football as the home of Durham W.F.C. since 2020 and is used as an international venue, including hosting one of the four 2023 Women's EuroHockey Championship Qualifiers tournaments in summer 2022 and the 1995 IAAF World Cross Country Championships. It has been used as a training ground by Hartlepool United since 2021, having previously been used by Newcastle United.
