Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi was released on 15 August 2024, coinciding with Independence Day. [6] The film received mixed-to-positive reviews and became a commercial success at the box office.

Plot

A wealthy tycoon's son become a valet to win the heart of a girl from a humble background. Determined to marry her, he faces challenges in gaining approval from her parents.

Critical reception

Shashiprasad SM of Times Now gave a rating of 3 out of 5, saying "Golden Star Ganesh Finds His Way Back To Form" and opined that "the other biggest highlight of the film is the music scored by Arjun Janya". [10]

Box Office

The movie collected ₹1.25 crores on its first day. [11] The movie was reported to have sold 49,000 tickets on its first Saturday with the three day gross being ₹4.82 crores to ₹ 5 crores. [12] [13] The four day extended weekend collection was reported to be ₹7.26 crores. [14] The five day collection was reported to be between ₹7.09 crores (net) [15] to ₹8.11 crores (gross). [16] The first week gross was reported to be ₹10.20 crores. [1]

The title of the film is an acronym of Eerenahalli Shankaregowda, the name of the detective agency that Jaggesh's character Shankar owns.
