Labangan, officially the Municipality of Labangan (Cebuano : Lungsod sa Labangan; Subanen: Benwa Labangan; Maguindanaon : Inged nu Labangan, Jawi: ايڠد نو لباڠن; Chavacano: Municipalidad de Labangan; Tagalog : Bayan ng Labangan), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 44,262 people.[4]
Labangan is politically subdivided into 25 barangays. Each barangay consists of puroks while some have sitios.
