Leonie Beu (born 28 November 1998) is a Papua New Guinean sprinter. She competed in the 200 meters at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. [1]

In 2023, Beu became the fourth women from Papua New Guinea to run inside 24 seconds and the number 2 all-time in the 200 metres clocking 23.61 seconds in Denton, Texas, United States. [2] At the 2023 Oceania Athletics Cup in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, she helped Team Melanesia win the fourth Oceania Cup by winning a total of 28 points in the 100, 200, and 400 meters. [3]

The 2022 Oceania Sevens Championship was held in Pukekohe, New Zealand on 24–26 June 2022. The event was the fourteenth Oceania Sevens tournament in men's rugby sevens. The competition was the final official tournament for Oceania Rugby national teams ahead of the Commonwealth Games Sevens in Birmingham. It was played as a double round-robin format at Navigation Homes Stadium. New Zealand won the tournament, with Australia VII Selection as runner-up.
