Leslie Chew Kwee Hoe SC is a Singaporean legal academic and law professor. He is the founding Dean of the School of Law, Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore's third law school. Career

Subordinate Courts

From 2007 to 2014, Chew was a District Judge and subsequently a Senior District Judge heading the Civil Justice Division of the State Courts (previously known as the Subordinate Courts). [4]

Singapore University of Social Sciences

In 2016, Chew was appointed the founding Dean of the School of Law, Singapore University of Social Sciences. [5] [6]

Professional Appointments and Awards

Chew was appointed Senior Counsel in 2000. [4]

In 2002, Chew was awarded the Public Service Medal by the President of the Republic of Singapore for his contributions to the Military Court of Appeal. [2]

NUS Faculty of Law

The National University of Singapore Faculty of Law is Singapore's oldest law school. NUS Law was initially established in 1956 as the Department of Law in the University of Malaya. After its establishment, NUS Law was Singapore's only law school for half a century, until the subsequent establishment of the SMU School of Law in 2007 and the SUSS School of Law in 2017.
