Lion Wood is a 8.9-hectare (22-acre) Local Nature Reserve in Norwich in Norfolk. It is owned and managed by Norwich City Council. [1] [2]
Around a third of this wood is believed to be ancient. The dominant trees are oak and sycamore, and there is a variety of woodland birds such as blackcaps and green and greater spotted woodpeckers. [1]
The wood is open to the public.

It is part of the Bure Broads and Marshes Site of Special Scientific Interest, and the Broadland Ramsar site and Special Protection Area, and The Broads Special Area of Conservation. It is also part of the Bure Marshes National Nature Reserve and Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I.
