The Union Cycliste Internationale is the world governing body for sports cycling and oversees international competitive cycling events. The UCI is based in Aigle, Switzerland.
EF Education–EasyPost, is an American professional cycling team. Founded in 2003, they have competed in the UCI World Tour since 2009. Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, United States, the team maintains an equipment and training facility in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. In 2018, EF Education First, an international education company — founded in Sweden but headquartered and incorporated in Switzerland — purchased a controlling equity stake in Slipstream Sports, the sports management company behind the team. The founder and CEO is American Jonathan Vaughters and the head sporting director is Briton Charly Wegelius.
Lidl–Trek is a professional road bicycle racing team at UCI WorldTeam level licensed in the United States. Formerly RadioShack–Nissan, in 2014, Trek took over the ownership of the team and its ProTeam License.
Wiggle High5 Pro Cycling was a British professional cycling team based in Belgium, which competed in elite road bicycle racing and track cycling events, such as the UCI Women's Road World Cup. The team closed at the end of 2018.
Sengers Ladies Cycling Team was a women's professional cycling team based in Belgium. Riders for Sengers Ladies Cycling Team competed in the UCI Women's Road World Cup and other elite women's events throughout the world.

UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Women's Team is a professional Women's road bicycle racing team, run by Momentum Sports Group and based in the United States. The team is sponsored principally by UnitedHealth Group. The team's most notable signing is the 2013 Giro Rosa overall winner Mara Abbott. The team made its debut at the inaugural Tour Femenino de San Luis.
Aromitalia–Basso Bikes–Vaiano is a professional Women's road bicycle racing team based in Italy.
China Liv Pro Cycling is a professional women's road bicycle racing team initially based Hong Kong until 2021 and then based out of China.
Peta Mullens is an Australian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Roxsolt Liv SRAM in road cycling, and Focus Attaquer in the mountain biking and cyclo-cross disciplines of the sport. She is a former Australian road cycling, MTB and cyclo-cross champion.

The 2015 women's road cycling season was the fifth for Team Liv–Plantur, which began as Team Skil-Argos in late 2010. On 24 September 2014 the team announced that they had secured a four-year sponsorship deal with a German hair care company. For the 2015 season the team was known as Team Liv-Plantur, with the men's team becoming Team Giant-Alpecin.
Ryan William Mullen is an Irish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Bora–Hansgrohe.
