The Chemical Brothers British electronic music duo

The Chemical Brothers are an English electronic music duo formed by Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons in Manchester in 1989. They were pioneers in bringing the big beat genre to the forefront of pop culture. They released their debut album Exit Planet Dust (1995) and it eventually went on to sell over a million copies worldwide. After attracting Virgin Records, the duo achieved more widespread success with their second album Dig Your Own Hole (1997), which topped the UK charts. In the UK, they have had six No. 1 albums and 13 Top 20 singles, including two No. 1 hits.

A remix is a piece of media which has been altered or contorted from its original state by adding, removing, and/or changing pieces of the item. A song, piece of artwork, book, video, poem, or photograph can all be remixes. The only characteristic of a remix is that it appropriates and changes other materials to create something new.

Marco "Benny" Benassi is an Italian DJ, record producer and remixer. He is widely seen as a pioneer of electro house, a genre brought into the mainstream by his 2002 summer club hit "Satisfaction".

The album contains remixes of tracks from her first two studio albums Sweet Kisses (1999) and Irresistible (2001). The remixes were done by DJs such as Peter Rauhofer and Hex Hector. The music was influenced by various genres of electronic music, such as ambient and techno. This Is the Remix didn't include any new songs.

Moon & the Sky

Moon & the Sky is a song by synthpop duo Erasure. Originally intended as the second single from their ninth studio album Loveboat, the album cut was remixed drastically for radio play by Jason Creasey and packaged with enough additional tracks and mixes that it could be considered an EP. Mute Records released the single in the UK under the title Moon & the Sky Plus, a similar tactic used for one of Erasure's previous singles ("Rain").

WOW Hits 2004 is a two-disc compilation album of songs that have been dubbed to showcase the best in contemporary Christian music. It was released on October 7, 2003. The album features songs by Michael W. Smith, Newsboys, Amy Grant, Sixpence None the Richer, and many more widely renowned groups and singers. It peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard 200. The album was certified as platinum in the US in 2004 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

<i>WOW 1999</i> 1998 compilation album by various artists

WOW 1999 is a compilation album of 30 contemporary Christian music hits that was released on October 20, 1998. It also featured three bonus tracks from new artists. WOW 1999 peaked at the 51st position on the Billboard 200 chart in 1998, and 2nd place on the Top Contemporary Christian album chart. In 2000 it reached No. 21 on the Top Contemporary Christian chart. The album was certified as double platinum in the year 2000 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It was certified as gold in Canada in 1999 by the Canadian Recording Industry Association.

The Free at Last – Extended Play Remixes is a remix EP by Christian rap/rock/pop trio dc Talk. The EP was released in the summer of 1994 on the heels of the Grammy Award-winning and platinum-selling album Free at Last. The album's three main hits were remixed for this release. The "Extended Play Remixes" was a three-part series released by ForeFront Records in 1994 with the other two by Audio Adrenaline and Code of Ethics. The series extended into the next year with releases by Geoff Moore and the Distance and Rebecca St. James.

I Am the Dance Commander + I Command You to Dance: The Remix Album is the first remix album by American recording artist Kesha, released on March 18, 2011. Announced on February 23, 2011, the album contains nine remixes, including featured appearances from André 3000 and 3OH!3, and only one previously unreleased track, "Fuck Him He's a DJ". According to Kesha, the album's release is intended to be a play on her party girl image; her image is commonly perceived as her being drunk when in actuality her lifestyle is about enjoying life and having fun no matter the circumstances.

Starlight (Sophie Ellis-Bextor song)

"Starlight" is a pop song released by British singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor as the sixth overall single from her fourth studio album, Make a Scene. It was written by Ellis-Bextor, Hannah Robinson and its producer Richard X. The song was released on 5 June 2011, in the United Kingdom as a digital download, a week before the release of the album. Ellis-Bextor appeared on various talk shows to promote the single prior to its release. The song also served as the lead single in Australia and Italy, released on 23 September 2011 a week ahead of the album release there. It's her first single as an independent artist with her label EBGB's.

<i>American Tragedy Redux</i> 2011 remix album by Hollywood Undead

American Tragedy Redux is the first remix album by American rap rock band Hollywood Undead. It is taking songs from the band's second studio album, American Tragedy, and remixing them. It was released on November 21, 2011, by A&M/Octone Records. The original tracks on the album were recorded following the induction of Daniel Murillo into the band in early 2010 and lasted until December. The tracks were then remixed by various DJs and musicians during the band's World War III Tour with Asking Alexandria later in 2011. The album's first single, "Levitate ", was released on October 18, 2011, with a music video being released on October 24.

Christian electronic dance music, also known as CEDM, Christian EDM, Christian Dance Music, CDM, or Christian electronic music is a genre of electronic dance music and Christian music. Its musical styles closely mirrors non-Christian EDM; however, the CEDM culture's lack of drug use and emphasis of positive lyrics distinguish it from non-religious counterparts. EDM.com wrote "the [CEDM] culture can feel quite welcoming." Many different Groups such as Christian Electro Spot, Found Beats, God's DJs, and CEDM Radio have been created to support and foster the CEDM genre. Many live concerts and events have been held in Christian churches in addition to traditional venues such as Lumination, Creation Festival and LifeLight Music Festival. CEDM has also been incorporated into some Christian worship routines.

Seven Lions Musical artist

Jeff Montalvo, known professionally as Seven Lions, is an American DJ, record producer, instrumentalist and remixer from Santa Barbara, California. Active musically since 2010, his music combines styles as diverse as trance, melodic dubstep, drum and bass, glitch hop, and electro house. He has released eight EPs, multiple singles, and official remixes for record labels such as Casablanca Records, Owsla, Viper Recordings, Anjunabeats, Republic Records and Monstercat.

The White Album is the first remix album by Australian contemporary worship music band Hillsong United. It was released on 4 March 2014. The album reached No. 48 on the Billboard 200 and also appeared on its component charts: No. 1 on Top Electronic Albums, No. 4 on Top Christian Albums and No. 22 on Top Digital Albums.

Johan Linus Eklöw, better known by his stage name Style of Eye, is a Swedish DJ, record producer, and songwriter. He is part of the electronic music group Galantis.

Soul Clap

Soul Clap is an American DJ and production duo from Boston, Massachusetts. Active in the club scene since 2001, the group has released a number of mixtapes, EPs, singles, and albums. In 2012 they released their first full-length album, EFUNK. According to XLR8R, Soul Clap "[tempt] the listener into the darker, more abstract corners of house by dressing them up with smooth, jazzy trimmings." The BBC wrote "they blend neon-splattered nostalgia with a crisp futurism thanks to their experimental production techniques."

San Holo Dutch DJ (born 1990)

Sander van Dijck, better known by his stage name San Holo, is a Dutch DJ, musician and record producer from Zoetermeer. He gained international recognition for his remix of Dr. Dre's "The Next Episode", which currently has over 250 million views on YouTube. He has released music on several record labels including Spinnin' Records, Owsla, Barong Family, and Monstercat. He also founded Bitbird, a label which has released several of his singles including "Still Looking" and "Light" and his debut album Album1. San Holo's first EP, Cosmos, was released via Heroic on 18 September 2014 and was in the Top 100 Electronic category of iTunes. San Holo's first album, Album1, was released via Bitbird on 21 September 2018 and debuted at #7 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Nadel Paris is a French singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, Electronic Dance Music (EDM) artist, and actor from Paris, based in Los Angeles. She is best known for her live shows and live renditions of her own songs.

<i>Club Future Nostalgia</i> 2020 remix album by Dua Lipa and the Blessed Madonna

Club Future Nostalgia is a remix album by English singer Dua Lipa and American DJ the Blessed Madonna. A DJ mix edition of it was released on 28 August 2020, with the standard edition following on 11 September of the same year. The album was crafted by remixes of tracks from Lipa's second studio album, Future Nostalgia (2020), with the remixes being created by an assortment of DJs and producers, including Masters at Work, Larry Heard, Mark Ronson and Stuart Price. Lipa wanted to make the album after seeing her fans listening to the original album while in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
