Christopher Louis Bosio is an American former professional baseball pitcher and pitching coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers and Seattle Mariners from 1986 to 1996. As a player, he was listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and 225 pounds (102 kg); he threw and batted right-handed. Bosio has served as a pitching coach in MLB for the Brewers, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Chicago Cubs, and Detroit Tigers.

Lloyd Glenn McClendon is an American former professional baseball player, coach and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an outfielder from 1987 to 1994 for the Cincinnati Reds, Chicago Cubs, and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tom Brookens</span> American baseball player and coach (born 1953)

Thomas Dale Brookens is an American former professional baseball third baseman. He played for the Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Brookens was on the Tigers' coaching staff from 2009 to 2013, serving as first base coach and later third base coach. He was replaced as third base coach prior to the 2014 season by Dave Clark.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Gene Lamont</span> American baseball player, coach, and manager (born 1946)

Gene William Lamont is an American special assistant to the general manager of the Kansas City Royals. He was a catcher and manager in Major League Baseball who managed the Chicago White Sox (1992–1995) and Pittsburgh Pirates (1997–2000) and served as a coach for the Detroit Tigers (2006-2017). He batted left-handed and threw right-handed.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Josh Paul</span> American baseball player and coach (born 1975)

Joshua William Paul is an American former professional baseball catcher and professional coach. He most recently served as the quality control coach for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played in MLB for the Los Angeles Angels, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He also coached the Angels and New York Yankees.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ramón Santiago</span> Dominican baseball player & coach (born 1979)

Ramón David Santiago Sanchez is a Dominican-American former professional baseball player, and minor league coach for the Detroit Tigers. Santiago played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as an infielder for the Detroit Tigers from 2002 to 2003, the Seattle Mariners from 2004 to 2005, again with the Tigers from 2006 to 2013 and with the Cincinnati Reds in 2014. He spent most of his major league career at shortstop, but also played a significant amount of time at second base, and occasionally third base. He is the only MLB player in history to hit a grand slam in his last at bat with a walk-off home run. He accomplished this feat playing with the Cincinnati Reds with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning on September 27, 2014, on a 1–0 pitch from the Pittsburgh Pirates' Bobby LaFromboise.

Richard Peter Dubee, Jr. is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) coach. He has previously coached at the Major League level for the Florida Marlins, Philadelphia Phillies, and Detroit Tigers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">A. J. Sager</span> American baseball player & coach (born 1965)

Anthony Joseph Sager is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) right-handed pitcher. He is currently the roving pitching instructor for the Detroit Tigers. Sager played for the San Diego Padres (1994), Colorado Rockies (1995) and Detroit Tigers (1996–1998).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rick Anderson (pitcher/coach)</span> American baseball player & coach (born 1956)

Richard Arlen Anderson is an American former professional baseball pitcher and coach. He played for the New York Mets and Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1986 to 1988. He served as the pitching coach for the Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers of MLB from 2002 to 2020.

Steven Michael Liddle is an American former professional baseball player, coach and manager.

Phillip Benjamin Clark is an American former professional baseball outfielder and coach. He most recently served as the assistant hitting coach for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, and Boston Red Sox. He also played four seasons in Japan with the Kintetsu Buffaloes.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Scott Coolbaugh</span> American baseball player & coach

Scott Robert Coolbaugh is an American former Major League Baseball (MLB) third baseman and coach who played for the Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres, and St. Louis Cardinals between 1989 and 1994.

The 2010 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 110th season. This year saw the passing of legendary Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell, and nearly saw the first perfect game thrown by a Tigers pitcher. The Tigers spent most of the season in 2nd or 3rd place. The third-place Tigers finished 13 games behind the AL Central Champion Minnesota Twins, with an 81–81 record and failed to make the playoffs.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mike Rojas</span> Baseball player

Miguel Angel Rojas is an American former professional baseball player and current baseball manager. He played in Minor league baseball as a catcher from 1983 to 1984 for the Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays organizations. After his playing career, he continued his involvement in professional baseball as a coach and manager for several organizations. He is the current manager for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals of the Double-A Texas League and the Leones del Caracas of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">JaCoby Jones</span> American baseball player (born 1992)

JaCoby Mylon Jones is an American former professional baseball center fielder. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers from 2016 to 2021. Prior to playing professionally, Jones attended Louisiana State University (LSU) and played college baseball for the LSU Tigers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2017 Detroit Tigers season</span> Major League Baseball season

The 2017 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 117th season. This was the team's fourth and final year under manager Brad Ausmus. This was the first season without owner Mike Ilitch, who bought the team in 1992 and died on February 10, 2017. The Tigers 2017 uniform features a "Mr. I" patch to honor him, the grounds crew wrote "Mr. I" in the outfield of Comerica Park, and he was also honored during a ceremony at the Tigers home opener on April 7.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 Detroit Tigers season</span> Major League Baseball season

The 2018 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 118th season. It was the team's first year under a mostly new coaching staff led by new Manager Ron Gardenhire. It was the fourth consecutive season they missed the playoffs, finishing with the same record as the previous season, 64–98, but good for third place in the American League Central division.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2020 Detroit Tigers season</span> Major League Baseball season

The 2020 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 120th season. This was the team's third and final year under manager Ron Gardenhire, and their 21st at Comerica Park. The start of season was delayed by four months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tigers finished the season with a 23–35 record, ranking last in their division and third-worst in the major leagues, and missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. For the second straight season, the Tigers pitching staff compiled the MLB's worst team ERA (6.37).

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 Detroit Tigers season</span> Major League Baseball season

The 2021 Detroit Tigers season was the team's 121st season and its 22nd at Comerica Park. This was the Tigers' first season under new manager A. J. Hinch following the sudden retirement of Ron Gardenhire on September 19, 2020. The Tigers' season began at home on April 1 against the Cleveland Indians. They sought to make the playoffs for the first time since 2014. On June 8, Comerica Park was allowed to return to operating at full seating capacity for the first time since 2019. The 2020 season was played behind closed doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, and April and May games this year were limited to 8,000 fans.

Akil Neomon Baddoo is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2021.
