Anwar Bakht Choudhury is a British diplomat of Bangladeshi origin. He was Governor of the Cayman Islands until he was recalled in June 2018 after less than three months in post. Prior to that, he was British Ambassador to Peru, Director of International Institutions at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and High Commissioner to Bangladesh.

Abdul Gaffar Choudhury was a Bangladeshi-born British writer, journalist, columnist, political analyst and poet. He wrote the lyrics to "Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano", a widely celebrated song commemorating the Bengali Language Movement. He was awarded Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1967, Ekushey Padak in 1983, and Independence Day Award in 2009.

Humayun Rasheed Choudhury was a Bangladeshi career diplomat and Speaker of the Bangladesh National Parliament from 1996 to 2001. He was elected president of the 41st session of the UN General Assembly in 1986. He was awarded Independence Day Award in 2018 posthumously by the Government of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh–Bhutan relations are the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Bhutan. The King of Bhutan was the first world leader to announce an official recognition of Bangladesh's independence on 6 December 1971. The leadership of both countries have since exchanged many state visits. In 2016, the President of Bangladesh addressed the Parliament of Bhutan. On 6 December 2020, both countries signed a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) with provisions for free trade in certain goods. The signing of the PTA was witnessed by the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister of Bhutan.

Sir Akhlaq Ur-Rahman Choudhury is a British High Court judge of England and Wales. In 2017, he was made Knight Bachelor on appointment, becoming the first British-Bangladeshi and Muslim to be appointed to the High Court of Justice.

Syed Muazzem Ali was a Bangladeshi foreign service officer and career diplomat. In 2020, he was posthumously conferred the Padma Bhushan award, the third-highest civilian honour of India.

Saida Muna Tasneem is a Bangladeshi diplomat who has served as High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom and Ambassador to Ireland and Liberia since November 2018. She is the first woman to hold these positions. She also serves as Bangladesh's permanent representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Khan Shamsur Rahman, also known as Khan Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, was a Bangladeshi diplomat and the first ambassador of Bangladesh to the Soviet Union. He was the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India.

M Allama Siddiki is a Bangladeshi diplomat and the current Bangladesh High Commissioner to Australia since July 2022. He is also accredited to New Zealand and Fiji. Prior to this position, he served as the ambassador to Denmark and Turkey. He was also accredited to Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
