<span class="mw-page-title-main">Regions of Italy</span> First-level administrative divisions of the Italian Republic

The regions of Italy are the first-level administrative divisions of the Italian Republic, constituting its second NUTS administrative level. There are twenty regions, five of which have higher autonomy than the rest. Under the Italian Constitution, each region is an autonomous entity with defined powers. With the exception of the Aosta Valley and Friuli-Venezia Giulia, each region is divided into a number of provinces (province).

The Corteno or Pecora di Corteno is a breed of sheep from the Val Camonica, in the province of Brescia in Lombardy, northern Italy. It is raised in the comune of Corteno Golgi, from which it takes its name, and in the neighbouring comuni of Edolo, Malonno and Paisco Loveno, all lying within the Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica. It is one of the forty-two autochthonous local sheep breeds of limited distribution for which a herdbook is kept by the Associazione Nazionale della Pastorizia, the Italian national association of sheep-breeders.

The Eccellenza is the fifth level of Italian football. It is a regional league, composed of 28 divisions divided geographically. All 20 regions are represented by at least one division except for Piedmont and Aosta Valley which share 2 divisions. Veneto, Tuscany, Sicily, Emilia-Romagna and Campania also have 2 divisions each, while the regions of Lombardy and Lazio have 3 divisions.

A regional council in Italy is the elected legislative assembly of a region of Italy. In Emilia-Romagna and Sicily, the legislative bodies are called the Legislative Assembly of Emilia-Romagna and the Sicilian Regional Assembly respectively.

TGR is the brand for Italian state-owned public broadcasting company Rai's regional news programmes. They are broadcast domestically on Rai Tre and Rai Radio 1. It was launched in 1979 as TG3 Regione, and was known as Rai Regione from 1987-1992 before adopting the current TGR name from 1992-1999 and again from 2002 onwards. Today with about 800 journalists is Europe's largest broadcast news organisation..

The Nera di Arbus, more fully Pecora Nera di Arbus, is a breed of small domestic sheep indigenous to the Mediterranean island of Sardinia, Italy. It takes its name from the comune of Arbus, in the province of Medio Campidano, in the south-western part of the island. It is raised in the provinces of Cagliari, Nuoro, Oristano and Sassari. The breed achieved official recognition in 2008.

The Delle Langhe, also called Pecora delle Langhe or Langarola, is a breed of domestic sheep indigenous to Piedmont, in north-western Italy. It is a rough-woolled breed of southern Mediterranean type, and originates from the mountainous area of the Alta Langa, where the Apennines meet the Alps, in the province of Cuneo. It is raised mainly in the Langhe, but is found in several other regions of Italy including Abruzzo, Basilicata, Emilia–Romagna, Liguria and Tuscany.

Mediocredito Trentino – Alto Adige is an Italian investment bank based in Trento, Trentino. The bank served historically the autonomous provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol, but now extended to Lombardy (Brescia), Veneto and Emilia-Romagna (Bologna).

The 2019–20 Coppa Italia Dilettanti was the 55th edition of Coppa Italia Dilettanti. Participants in the competition include all teams of 2019–20 Eccellenza and some teams of 2019–20 Promozione, the fifth and sixth tier of the Italian football pyramid, respectively. The winner of the competition were promoted to 2020–21 Serie D.
