This is a list of Macedonian comics creators. Although comics have different formats, this list covers creators of comic books, graphic novels and comic strips, along with early innovators.

Contents

The list presents authors with the Republic of Macedonia as their country of work, and does not imply their ethnic origin, which could be Macedonian, as well as Serb, Jewish, Bulgarian, Aromanian or Greek. For other countries, see List of comic creators.

Slavko Janevski was a Macedonian poet, prose and script writer. He was also active as a comics artist. He finished high school in Skopje. From 1945 onwards he was the editor of the first teenage magazine called "Pioneer". Janevski is the author of the first novel to be written in Macedonian, Seloto zad sedumte jaseni. As script writer he adapted the historical drama "Macedonian bloody wedding" in 1967. Janevski received many awards, among others "AVNOJ" 1968 and "Makedonsko slovo" for the book Thought. He is considered to have laid the foundations of the Macedonian literature.

Zoran Stefanović is a Serbian author, publisher and cultural activist, best known as the founder of several cultural networks, including Project Rastko. His works were published and produced in Europe and US.

Zdravko Zupan was a Yugoslav comic book creator and historian.

Heroina was a Yugoslav art rock band formed in Novi Sad in 1982. They were a prominent act of the Yugoslav rock scene in the mid-1980s.

Nikola Maslovara Masli (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Масловара Масли, Odžaci, 22 December 1946 ) is a Serbian comics creator, cartoonist, caricaturist, scriptwriter, animator, editor, publisher and art teacher.
