The Petronas Towers, or the Petronas Twin Towers, are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH)'s official definition and ranking, they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 when they were surpassed by Taipei 101. The Petronas Towers remain the tallest twin towers in the world. They are a major landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower, and are visible in many places across the city.
Michelle Yeoh, PSM is a Malaysian actress who rose to fame in 1990s Hong Kong action films and is best known internationally for her roles in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), the Academy Award-winning martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), and Shang-Chi and the Legend of The Ten Rings (2021). Yeoh is credited as Michelle Khan in her early Hong Kong films.

The Telekom Tower or Menara TM is a skyscraper in Lembah Pantai, southwestern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is 310 m (1,017 ft) tall, has 57 floors, and is shaped to represent a sprouting "bamboo shoot". It is located along the Federal Highway, Sprint Expressway and Jalan Pantai Baharu and is served by the Rapid KL Kerinchi LRT station. It was designed by Hijjas Kasturi Associates and was constructed between 1998 and 2001 by Deawoo Construction. The building was officially opened on 11 February 2003 by the fourth Malaysian Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. It resembles the Bitexco Financial Tower of Ho Chi Minh City and the Telecommunications Tower in Montevideo.
The culture of Malaysia draws on the varied cultures of the different people of Malaysia. The first people to live in the area were indigenous tribes that still remain; they were followed by the Malays, who moved there from mainland Asia in ancient times. Chinese and Indian cultural influences made their mark when trade began with those countries, and increased with immigration to Malaysia. Other cultures that heavily influenced that of Malaysia include Persian, Arabic, British. The many different ethnicities that currently exist in Malaysia have their own unique and distinctive cultural identities, with some crossover.
Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia. The federal constitutional monarchy consists of thirteen states and three federal territories, separated by the South China Sea into two regions, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo's East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia shares a land and maritime border with Thailand and maritime borders with Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. East Malaysia shares land and maritime borders with Brunei and Indonesia and a maritime border with the Philippines and Vietnam. Kuala Lumpur is the national capital, largest city and the seat of the legislative branch of the federal government. The nearby planned capital of Putrajaya is the administrative capital, which represents the seat of both the executive branch and the judicial branch of the federal government. With a population of over 32 million, Malaysia is the world's 44th-most populous country. The southernmost point of continental Eurasia is in Tanjung Piai. In the tropics, Malaysia is one of 17 megadiverse countries, home to numerous endemic species.

Censorship is a long term issue in Malaysia which has become more apparent as it attempts to adapt to a modern knowledge-based economy. Despite having in its Federal Constitution that subject to certain conditions, "every citizen has the right to freedom of speech and expression", Malaysia has consistently sat low on global indexes related to press and media freedom.
Upin & Ipin is a Malaysian animated television series produced by Les' Copaque Production, which features the life and adventures of the eponymous twin brothers in a fictional Malaysia. Originally a side project for the blockbuster animated film Geng: The Adventure Begins, Upin & Ipin was introduced on TV9 in Malaysia and MNCTV in Indonesia on 13 September 2007 as a six episode Ramadan/Hari Raya Aidilfitri special, to teach children the significance of the Islamic holy month. A second season, also centered on Ramadan, aired in 2008. Its third season, Upin Ipin and Friends, debuted internationally on Disney Channel Asia the following year, and began to focus more on the everyday lives of The Twins and their friends. As of 2021, Upin & Ipin is the longest-running Malaysian animated series, currently in its 14th year of production, and it’s 16th season will sometime premiere in 2022.
Edmund Yeo is a Malaysian film director, screenwriter and film producer. He first received international acclaim in 2009 when his Japanese-language short film, Kingyo, premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
Nasrul Suhaimin bin Saifuddin, known professionally as Bront Palarae, is a Malaysian actor, screenwriter, film director and producer.

Malacca is a state in Malaysia located in the southern region of the Malay Peninsula, next to the Strait of Malacca. Its capital is Malacca City, dubbed the Historic City, which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008.
