This article contains a list of rugby union players who have represented the Melbourne Rebels in a Super Rugby competition match since they joined the competition in 2011. Players are ordered in order of first appearance. Players who played in the Rebels inaugural game are ordered in alphabetical order, but whereafter are ordered in position from No. 1 to No. 15 if more than one player debut in the same match at the same point of debut. Players are given an official 'Rebel number' on their first Super Rugby appearance, or appearance in a regionalised competition such as Super Rugby AU or Super Rugby Trans-Tasman. [1]
A player's nationality shown is taken from the nationality at the highest honour for the national side obtained; or if never capped internationally their place of birth. Senior caps take precedence over junior caps or place of birth; junior caps take precedence over place of birth. A player's nationality at debut may be different from the nationality shown. Combination sides like the British and Irish Lions or Pacific Islanders are not national sides, or nationalities.
Players listed in Bold denote a player who is internationally capped. Players may have played in another position than listed, but only main positions are listed. Players may have been contracted for others seasons, but only seasons in which they played an official Super Rugby match are included.

Kurtley James Beale is an Australian professional rugby union representative player who has made over 90 national representative appearances in a ten-year playing career at the world-class level. He is of Aboriginal descent, has had a long Super Rugby career with the New South Wales Waratahs and has played for the Melbourne Rebels and the Wasps club in England. Beale usually plays at full-back or centre but can play fly-half or winger. In 2011 Beale received the John Eales Medal, awarded to Australian rugby's Player of the Year.
The Melbourne Rebels is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Melbourne with teams in the Super Rugby Pacific and Super Rugby Women's competitions. The Rebels made their debut in SANZAR's Super Rugby tournament in 2011. The club shares its name with a former Australian Rugby Championship team, but is unrelated. The team plays home matches at AAMI Park.

Amanaki Lelei Mafi is a Tongan-born, Japanese professional rugby union player who currently plays as a number 8 for the Japanese Sunwolves, Japan national rugby union team and the Bath Rugby Union team for a short period of time.
Joe Powell is an Australian rugby union scrum-half who is currently unattached. He most recently played for Leicester Tigers in Premiership Rugby, the top tier of English rugby union. He previously played for London Irish, Canberra Vikings and the ACT Brumbies. He was a member of the Brumbies extended playing squad, making his first appearances for the franchise during the 2015 Super Rugby season.
