The club has won the Southern League once, the London League once, the Western League once, the League Championship twice, the FA Cup eight times, the League Cup four times, the Charity Shield four times outright and three times shared, the Southern Charity Cup twice outright and once shared, the London Professional Football Charity Fund match eleven times outright and twice shared, the London FA Charity Cup twice, the European Cup Winners' Cup once, the UEFA Cup twice, and the Anglo-Italian League Cup-Winners' Cup once.
Top scorers in bold were also the top scorers in the top flight of the English league system. From 1993, this player was awarded the Premier League Golden Boot.

James Peter Greaves was an English professional footballer who played as a forward. Regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time and one of England's best ever players, he is England's fifth-highest international goalscorer with 44 goals, which includes an English record of six hat-tricks, and is Tottenham Hotspur's second-highest all-time top goalscorer. Greaves is the highest goalscorer in the history of English top-flight football with 357 goals. He finished as the First Division's top scorer in six seasons, more times than any other player and came third in the 1963 Ballon d'Or rankings. He is also a member of the English Football Hall of Fame.
The Football Association Community Shield is English football's annual match contested at Wembley Stadium between the champions of the previous Premier League season and the holders of the FA Cup. If the Premier League champions also won the FA Cup, then the league runners-up provide the opposition. The fixture is recognised as a competitive super cup by The Football Association and UEFA.
Edward Paul Sheringham is an English football manager and former player. He played as a forward, mostly as a second striker, in a 24-year professional career. Sheringham was part of the Manchester United team that won the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League in 1999. He scored the equalising goal and provided the assist for the club's winning goal in the 1999 UEFA Champions League final against Bayern Munich that sealed it, with both goals coming in injury time of the second half.
David Bone Nightingale Jack was an English footballer who played as an inside forward. He scored 267 goals from 490 appearances in the Football League playing for Plymouth Argyle, Bolton Wanderers and Arsenal. He was the first footballer to be transferred for a fee in excess of £10,000, was the first to score at Wembley – in the 1923 FA Cup Final – and was capped nine times for England. After retiring as a player, he managed Southend United, Middlesbrough and Shelbourne.

Peter Murphy, often referred to as Spud Murphy, was an English footballer who played as an inside left. He played professionally for three clubs, Coventry City, Tottenham Hotspur and Birmingham City. He is possibly best remembered for the incident in the 1956 FA Cup final when Manchester City's goalkeeper Bert Trautmann broke a bone in his neck when diving at Murphy's feet.
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is a football club based in Tottenham, north London, England. The 1962 FA Charity Shield was the 40th FA Charity Shield, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Football League and FA Cup competitions. The match took place on 11 August 1962 at Portman Road in Ipswich, and was played between 1961–62 Football League champions Ipswich Town and 1961–62 FA Cup winners Tottenham Hotspur. Watched by a crowd of 20,067, the match ended in a 5–1 victory for Tottenham Hotspur.
The 1921 FA Charity Shield was a football match played on 16 May 1921. It was the eight FA Charity Shield match and was contested by First Division champions Burnley and FA Cup winners Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham won 2–0, their first of seven Charity Shield wins, having lost to West Bromwich Albion by the same score the previous year. Burnley's appearance was their first in the Charity Shield, thought they have since won the competition twice.
