Basshunter is a Swedish singer, record producer and DJ who has released six studio albums. Overall, Basshunter has received nine awards from 27 nominations. His second studio album LOL (2006) earned him nominations for Emma and Grammis awards, and won the European Border Breakers Award. His single "Boten Anna" was nominated for several awards, including the Rockbjörnen award, and won the Eurodanceweb Award. "Now You're Gone" was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Award in the category Most Addictive Track, won the Eska Music Award and voted 9th place for The Record of the Year competition. In 2008, Basshunter was nominated for the BT Digital Music Award in the categories Best Electronic Artist or DJ and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. In 2009, Basshunter received the Scandipop Award. His single "Every Morning" was nominated for International Dance Music Award in 2010. In 2011, he also received last nomination for Scandipop Award for his single "Saturday". Basshunter has won no awards since 2009.

"Boten Anna" is a song by Swedish musician Basshunter, from his first studio album, LOL. Following the single's release in 2006, Basshunter gained popularity in his native Sweden, as well as Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Poland and the Netherlands. The song topped hit charts and, on 3 May 2006, was named Norway's official Russ-song of the year. It was also the most popular song at The Gathering LAN party 2006. An English version titled "Now You're Gone", sung by Sebastian Westwood, using unrelated lyrics, was released in December 2007.

<i>LOL</i> (Basshunter album) 2006 studio album by Basshunter

LOL is the second studio album by the Swedish musician Basshunter, and was released on 28 August 2006 by Warner Music Sweden. An international edition was released on 22 December 2006, with a red version of the cover artwork. The international version includes the original album's Swedish songs with their titles translated into English, a slightly-different track order and additional tracks, including "Jingle Bells".

First Aid Kit is a Swedish folk duo consisting of the sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, born in 1990 and 1993, respectively. When performing live, they are accompanied by a drummer, a guitarist and a keyboard player. First Aid Kit started to become internationally known in 2008 with their YouTube uploaded cover of the Fleet Foxes' song "Tiger Mountain Peasant Song". In 2012 Rolling Stone magazine had their song "Emmylou" as 10th on their "Single of the Year" list. First Aid Kit has released five albums, four EPs and several singles. In 2015, they were nominated for a Brit Award as one of the five best international groups. They were nominated again in 2019 and 2023.

John Charles Kenneth Gärdestad was a Swedish songwriter, best known for writing lyrics for the songs of his brother, Ted Gärdestad. He participated at Melodifestivalen 1979 as a songwriter for the winning song "Satellit" performed by his brother. The song went on to Eurovision the same year, where it placed 17th. Gärdestad was also an architect, affiliated to the private Kunskapsskolan, where he designed the interior of several of its high schools. Gärdestad published the biography Jag vill ha en egen måne in 2005. In later years he became a mental health activist, and created the "Ted Gärdestad Stipend", a prize awarded to amateur singers and songwriter.

"Home" is a song by Swedish musician Basshunter. The single was released on 27 September 2019 by Artistars, PowerHouse, Roton, Teta Records, Warner Music Russia, Warner Music Sweden and Yeni Dünya Müzik. "Home" was written by Cedric Lorrain, Javier Gonzalez, Basshunter, Linnea Deb, Robert Uhlmann and Thomas G:son, and produced by Jakob Redze. The single peaked at number 5 on British Commercial Pop chart.

"Svag" is a song by Swedish singer Victor Leksell, released as a single from his debut album, Fånga mig när jag faller (2020). Leksell performed the song at Musikhjälpen in December 2019; following positive reception from fans, the song was released on 17 January 2020. "Svag" was written by Leksell along with Carl Silvergran, Felix Flygare Floderer, Kevin Högdahl, and Niklas Carson Mattsson, and produced by Silvergran, Floderer, and Mattsson. According to Leksell, the song expresses the feeling of having one's breath taken away while in the presence of a love interest.
