Ulubey Canyon Nature Park is a nature park in the Ulubey and Karahallı districts of Uşak Province, Turkey. The canyon is the second longest in the world after the Grand Canyon in the United States. The park provides suitable habitat for many species of animals and plants and is being developed as a centre for ecotourism.

The Başbağlar massacre is the name given to the 5 July 1993 massacre of 33 civilians in the village of Başbağlar, in Erzincan Province during the Kurdish-Turkish conflict. While the attack was originally attributed to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), the former Turkish special forces soldier Ayhan Çarkın claimed that the deep state was behind the massacre. But later he then said that all of his claims were "just predictions". The leader of the PKK, Abdullah Öcalan while in prison stated that massacre was committed by a PKK member codenamed "Dr. Baran".

Founded in 1982 and based in Ankara, the TSSF is a member of both the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS) and the International Life Saving Federation (ILS). Its president is Ahmet İnkılap Obruk, who was also elected in 2009 to CMAS' board of directors for a term of four years.

Vahdettin Pavilion, a.k.a. Çengelköy Pavilion is the name of a rebuilt structure in Çengelköy neighborhood of Üsküdar district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is also the name of a historical timber mansion which stood at the same location. The original pavilion was used by the then Ottoman şehzade (prince) Mehmed Vahdettin. The site of this monument, which was demolished in 2013 and replaced with an inaccurate concrete replica, is now an official residence assigned to the President of Turkey. It is also used as state guest house.

Taksim Mosque is a mosque complex in Taksim Square, Istanbul. It was designed by two Turkish architects in the Art Deco style, and can hold up to 3,000 worshippers at the same time. Construction began on February 17, 2017 and lasted for four years. The mosque was inaugurated with a Friday prayer attended by the President, Recep Tayyıp Erdoğan, on 28 May 2021.
