This list of dinosaur ichnogenera is a comprehensive listing of all ichnogenera that have been attributed to dinosaurs, excluding class Aves (birds, both living and those known only from fossils) and purely vernacular terms. The list includes all commonly accepted ichnogenera, but also genera that are now considered invalid, doubtful ( nomen dubium ), or were not formally published ( nomen nudum ), as well as junior synonyms of more established names, and ichnogenera that are no longer attributed to dinosaurs.
There is no official, canonical list of dinosaur ichnogenera. An extensive list can be found in an appendix to Donald F. Glut's third supplement to his series of dinosaur encyclopedias (2003). [1] The vast majority of citations are based on Glut's list; exceptions, such as more recent ichnotaxa, are noted. Synonymies are also after Glut.

Jialingpus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur, likely a theropod. Its footprints have been found in the Feitianshan Formation, a low-energy lake formation. Holotype is SCFP-24, which was found in Late Jurassic (Oxfordian)-aged Yuechi tracksite at Huanglong, China. These footprints were found within the vicinity of those of the smaller theropod Minisauripus, meaning that Jialingpus likely hunted Minisauripus.
Brontopodus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint. The footprint has diplodocid form, but four toes when almost every diplodocid has no more than three. This leaves Dyslocosaurus as the only known genus capable of producing the footprints. In 2020 Molina-Perez and Larramendi estimated the size of an individual at 23.7 meters (78 ft) and 32 tonnes based on the 1.1 m (3.6 ft) long footprint that was found in Texas.
Caririchnium is an ichnogenus of ornithopod dinosaur footprint, belonging to either derived iguanodonts or basal hadrosauroids. It includes the species Caririchnium lotus from Lower Cretaceous Jiaguan Formation and C. protohadrosaurichnos from Upper Cretaceous Woodbine Formation. Specimens are also known from the Lower Cretaceous El Castellar Formation and Camarillas Formations.
Dakotasaurus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Deltapodus is an ichnogenus of footprint produced by a stegosaurian dinosaur According to the main Stegosauria article:
Hadrosaurichnus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Ichnites is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Iranosauripus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint discovered in Iran that supposedly belonged to a theropod. Iranosauripus supposedly existed during Middle Triassic-Early Jurassic, although the first true dinosaurs, such as Eoraptor, did not exist until the Late Triassic. The type ichnospecies, I. zerabensis was named in 1975.
Iguanodontipus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Orcauichnites is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Ornithopodichnites is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Pseudotetrasauropus is an ichnogenus of sauropod dinosaur footprint from the Elliot Formation of Lesotho and South Africa. In 2020 based on the 60 cm long footprint Molina-Pérez and Larramendi estimated the size of the animal at 9.1 meters and 2 tonnes.
Rotundichnus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint. The ichnospecies Rotundichnus muchehagensis dates to the early lower Cretaceous in central Laurasia and the largest footprint, that was 87 cm (2.85 ft) long, belongs to an individual that measured 21.5 meters (70.5 ft) and weighed 36.5 tonnes.
Shensipus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint. They were described from footprints found in Jiaoping Coal Mine by C. C. Young in 1966, which are part of the Zhiluo Formation. The genus was suggested in 2015 to be a synonym of Anomoepus.
Shiraminesauropus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Sousaichnium is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Staurichnium is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Tetrapodosaurus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint.
Wintonopus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur footprint. Its footprints have been found at Lark Quarry in Queensland Australia. The genus is named after the Winton Formation in which the tracks were found. Other tracks were found in the Broome Sandstone of Dampier Peninsula, Western Australia.
Xiangxipus is an ichnogenus of dinosaur from ichnofamily Eubrontidae. Footprints of this dinosaur are found only in Cretaceous deposits of China in Xiangxi, Jiuquwan mine tracksite (HV). These deposits were dated at 99.7 to 66.043 Ma.
