In 2018, the total installed capacity of generation was 4,531 MW with 40% from natural gas, 34% from coal, 20% from hydro, 5% from wind, and 1% from other sources such as solar. [1]

The Centennial Wind Power Facility is a wind farm built by SaskPower with a nameplate capacity of 150 MW. It is located in the hills roughly 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The wind farm was the first in Canada to have a capacity of at least 100 MW upon completion in 2006.

Coteau Creek Hydroelectric Station is a hydroelectric station owned by SaskPower, located near Danielson Provincial Park about 100 kilometres (62 mi) south-west of Saskatoon, between the towns of Outlook and Elbow. The station is on the South Saskatchewan River and draws water from the Gardiner Dam and is named after a nearby tributary to the South Saskatchewan River.

Cory Cogeneration Station is a natural gas-fired station owned by SaskPower and located near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. The plant operates at 260 MW in a conventional generation mode and at 228 MW in a cogeneration mode. Steam from the plant is used to supply the Potash Corp Cory Mine.
