Europa-Park is a theme park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Covering a total area of 95 hectares, twenty themed areas offer around a hundred attractions, including shows and fourteen roller coasters. The park also includes six hotels, a camping site, a tepee village, a cinema and a conference center.

Phantasialand is a theme park in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany that attracts approximately 2 million visitors annually. It was opened in 1967 by Gottlieb Löffelhardt and Richard Schmidt. Although starting as a family-oriented park, it has added thrill rides, especially in recent years. Following the example of Europa-Park, it has also decided to attract business customers, calling spring the slogan "Business to Pleasure".

Humorous characters may also be included.

Shocktoberfest is an annual haunted event near Reading, Pennsylvania. The attractions include dark attractions, haunted houses, and a haunted hayride. It is referred to by the management of Shocktoberfest as a "haunted theme park" even though it is not a theme park in the true sense of the term.

The longest-running and most successful iteration of the event, in Orlando, Florida, began as Universal Studios Fright Nights in 1991 as a 3-night event at Universal Studios Florida. The following year, it was re-branded as Halloween Horror Nights, advertised as the "second annual event". Since then, it has evolved into a scare-a-thon event filled with themed haunted houses, scare zones and shows that runs over the course of select nights from early September until late October/early November, inspiring offshoots at other Universal Studios locations across the globe.

The team consists primarily of composers and sound designers and is known for its specialization in soundtrack production for amusement parks. Everhaunt Haunted House is a self-guided, walk-through Halloween Experience/ haunted attraction located near Buffalo, NY, in Erie County, New York. It is a seasonal Halloween-based event which opened in 2019. Everhaunt currently contains multiple haunted houses, escape rooms, midway games, virtual reality rides,and Halloween shows. Night-time events are not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Everhaunt also operates Western New York Family Fall Festivals in October which involve a lights-on haunted attraction for children.
