Shohei Baba, best known by his ring name Giant Baba, was a Japanese professional wrestler, promoter, and professional baseball player. He is best known as a co-founder of All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), a promotion he founded in 1972 along with Mitsuo Momota and Yoshihiro Momota, the sons of his mentor Rikidōzan. For the first 10 years of its existence, Baba was the top star of All Japan, while also serving as the booker, promoter, head trainer and president of the promotion from its inception in 1972 till his death in 1999. Baba was also responsible for recruiting much of the talent for All Japan, and was the public face of the promotion for much of his lifetime.

Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic is an American independent professional wrestling promotion founded by Jeff Rudd in 2000. The promotion is based in the southeastern United States, largely covering the Carolinas and Virginia, with its headquarters in Burlington, North Carolina. It is one of the oldest "indy" groups in North Carolina, succeeding Count Grog's Southern Championship Wrestling as the state's top promotion shortly before its close in 2004.
The CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Championship was a professional wrestling main championship in Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic. It was the original cruiserweight title of the Carolina Wrestling Federation promotion, later used in the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (2001–2004) and AWA Superstars (2005–2007) as a regional title, officially representing the Mid-Atlantic United States, while it was a member of the respective governing bodies. It remained active until November 2003 when the CWF reclassified the title as a television championship.
The CWF Mid-Atlantic Rising Generation League Championship is a professional wrestling secondary championship in Carolina Wrestling Federation Mid-Atlantic. It was first introduced by the promotion while an affiliate of the Frontier Wrestling Alliance (2001-2004) and later recognized by AWA Superstars (2005-2007). The title is traditionally defended in an annual tournament, typically held in December, although it has been occasionally defended in singles matches during the year. The title has switched hands in non-tournament bouts only twice, with the majority of the title changes occurring at the Rising Generation League Tournament. As of 2012, no champion has ever won the tournament more than once.
The MDW Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling heavyweight championship in Mason-Dixon Wrestling (MDW). It was the original heavyweight title of the Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling promotion during its first year of operation. In December 1998, the promotion became Mason-Dixon Wrestling and the title became the MDW Heavyweight Championship.
The MDW Tri-State Heavyweight Championship is a professional wrestling secondary championship in Mason-Dixon Wrestling (MDW). It was the original television title of the Atlantic Coast Championship Wrestling promotion during its first year of operation. In December 1998, the promotion became Mason-Dixon Wrestling and the title was replaced by the MDW Tri-State Heavyweight Championship.
