Littorina compressa is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Littorinidae, the winkles or periwinkles. [1]
Littorina compressa are native to Western Europe, [2] [3] and have also been found in the North Atlantic sea [4] and in Russia. [3]
Littorina compressa share are extremely similar in appearance to their sibling species [5] Littorina saxatilis and Littorina arcana. [6] The three species have been found to grow together. [5] [7] [6]
